FOREST PLANTING & RESTORATION

_BAK4345.jpg

Forest planting is not only a solution for landscape recovery but also an essential action to regenerate degraded ecosystems. In Vietnam, where biodiversity is rich yet under significant pressure from deforestation, forest fires, and land-use conversion, forest planting holds particular importance.

Forests provide habitat for thousands of species and play a critical role in regulating the climate, retaining water, preventing soil erosion, and preserving biodiversity—key factors in maintaining ecological balance and enhancing resilience to climate change. Forest restoration not only protects threatened species but also contributes to sustaining the livelihoods of local communities.

Therefore, forest planting should not be solely the responsibility of the forestry sector or government authorities; it requires the active participation of businesses, social organizations, scientists, and the public. Every small action—from supporting reforestation programs and using environmentally friendly products to raising community awareness—contributes to a greater effort: restoring forests and rebuilding Vietnam’s forest ecosystems for today and for future generations.
