FLORA CONSERVATION

with about 20,000 species of higher plants, many of which have medicinal, cultural and economic value, and play an essential role in maintaining ecosystem balance.
However, many rare plant species are seriously threatened by loss of habitat, overexploitation, forest fires, habitat encroachment and climate change.
Recognizing the importance and urgency of conserving these plant species, the Center for Nature Conservation and Development (CCD Vietnam) is implementing
plant investigation, monitoring and research activities in many areas
