With the diversity of nature, culture and natural landscapes, especially in mountainous and coastal areas, tourism in Vietnam is both a tool for entertainment, a lever for economic development, and has the potential to effectively educate the environment if properly implemented. Therefore, the Center for Nature Conservation and Development hopes to help the public and local communities understand the core values of ecotourism: developing services in harmony with nature protection. From there, develop tourism models suitable to local characteristics, helping remote, mountainous and coastal communities develop their livelihoods, increase their income, and at the same time limit the impact on biodiversity in that locality.

To achieve this goal, the Center for Nature Conservation and Development is promoting research, planning and capacity building programs on ecotourism and community tourism for partners and local communities. Tourism activities are also being used by us as a tool to raise public awareness through experiential programs, learning about nature and indigenous culture.
